Summary
- Everything you type or paste into the converter is processed in your browser and is never sent to us.
- There are no accounts, and we don’t ask for your name or email to use the site.
- We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which features are used, without your text.
- We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t show ads.
The text you convert
Conversion runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The text or binary you enter is not uploaded, logged or stored on any server. It disappears when you close the tab.
When you use Copy link, your input is placed in the part of the URL after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so the link works without us ever receiving its contents. Anyone you share the link with can see the text, so share it with care.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, for example how many people visit, from which countries, on which devices, and whether features such as Copy or Swap are used. When you convert something, we record the direction, the format and the number of bytes, never the text itself.
Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can block it with your browser’s privacy settings, a content blocker, or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; the converter works the same either way.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are switched off by default. Google Analytics then receives only cookieless signals that don’t identify your browser. Advertising features are switched off for everyone.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Data stored on your device
If you choose a light or dark theme, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device. Choosing “System” removes it.
Links to AI assistants
The “Ask AI” links in the footer open third-party services such as ChatGPT or Claude with a question about the current page. Those services have their own privacy policies; we send them nothing ourselves.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to improve the site. We don’t add you to any mailing list or share your address.
Children
The site is suitable for students and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
